About Me

After 15 years at a successful recruitment agency in London I knew I wanted to start Norah Durrant Recruitment.

 I was working with law firms to achieve greater diversity among senior staff. At the same time, I was passionate about placing senior female lawyers in jobs which satisfied both their life roles and career aspirations. I saw the opportunity to connect the two.

 Making the move to the next stage of your career is never without its challenges. It takes courage and clear decision-making. The leap to start my own business was nothing short of scary but it gave me clarity: what I wanted was to support and encourage other women to do something similar and explore their true potential.  

 As a former employment lawyer I understand the commitment needed to take on a senior legal role. As a woman, and mother of 3 boys, I know only too well the extra pressures facing female partners. That’s why I specialise in finding partner-level roles for women which represent the perfect fit for both their life and ambition.
